How we make money
Our affiliate model in plain terms — and why the deal is real either way.
DealPromise is free to use, and there's no account to buy. So how do we keep the lights on? Affiliate links.
The plain version
When you use some of our links to shop, the store may pay us a small commission on your purchase — at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you'd pay going direct; we get credit for pointing you there.
The deal is real either way
This is the part that matters: a deal on DealPromise is genuine whether or not the link pays us. "20% off with code SAVE20 → go to the store" helps you exactly the same, commission or not. When we don't have an affiliate relationship with a store, we still link you straight to the merchant so you can grab the deal. We never hide a working deal because it doesn't earn us anything.
What that means for you
- Same price. Commissions come from the store's side, not yours.
- No pressure. We don't push a worse deal because it pays better.
- Full disclosure. Where required, links and pages carry an affiliate disclosure. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the formal details.
If you'd rather not use an affiliate link, you can always search for the store directly — the saving is the same.
